looking into picking up one of these. Like the Box of Rock. Anyone got any input to any of these effects?

Have you ever had the experience with an effect where you wish the knob would go further, more extreme, that you could push it over the edge and get sounds it really wasn't supposed to make?
All the Zvex pedals I've tried go WAY beyond that point, easily, happily and with great style.

I mean, delay units were not 'supposed' to get that messy over-feedback too many repeats and pitch woobling all over the place effect when you crank the repeats and mess with the delay time, but geez it sounds good and delay units that can't give you that are super-boring. I like effects that can go fully into 'wrong' territory. Zvex makes pedals for people like me. There are some cool new ideas for unheard before effects too, like the seek wah. Cool. He does fuzz and distortion that will skin a cat too....

Z.vex pedals are kinda pricey but unique. I really like the idea of the wah probe.
