Well Im back from Springfield, just a 5 hr round trip.... form my previous post I was in search of a "Surf Green" Strat, w/maple neck...
I couldn't find either a classic or a 57.. So I asked the Assistant Manager, He said... "They dont make green guitars... but I can order you one, should be about $50.00 more for your choice of paint" Well I was speechless... I went down the street to BEst Buy. They had the Classic hanging right there... and in my color, I played on it for a bout 15 minutes. I couldn't find a salesman to sell it to me!? after about a half hour of waiting for "the guy", I simply gave up... I really liked the Classic, but I think Ill wait untill I can find and play the 57... Anyway, I 've had a good chuckkle over the whole day!!

The scary thing is you would think he must have a relative that owns the store and that is why he is working there, but no these are the people they actually hire of the street to work these days=unqualified.
