Hi again,
Well I'm shopping again, this time I think I have found what I'm looking for and it is actual what it calims to be (well, I hope CA Feathers will be able to confirm that for me). Anyway this is a MIJ 1989 J SERIES FENDER ST-57 REISSUE.
I have uploaded photos I took of the guitar and the owner/seller also gave me a pic of the guitar with the body and neck apart. So is this definitely a 57 Reissue made in '89? I read all the details CA mentioned re: my last post on the last MIJ query and this time all the details/specs add up, especially when you see the "ST-57" stamp on the end of the neck inside.
Thanks in advance.

Oh and the price he's asking for is $700

Well, I have good news, and bad news. LOL

The ST-57 is a part number.
The pickguard is not original.
It's not a '57RI

Look at the string tree, a '57 had one single "butterfly" string tree.

A '54RI had the single round string tree.

Yeah it would be a single ply pickguard, not 3 ply. And the code on the neck is what I was talking about in the other post. Like my MIJ strat says st-62, but it's not a 62 reissue.

This guitar is a little nicer in my opinion, than the last one.
