My AmDlx's S-1 switch's cap is spinning, when its in the off position, and it's annoying, 'cos it has to be exactly in the right spot when I want it on. And today I tried other AmDlx at a local musicstore, and that ones S-1 cap was not spinning. How can I keep it steady??

Hello!

Sounds like your S-1 switch tip has broken and you need a replacement. On the Switch tip there should be two rods, if your missing the rod near the edge it will spin. You could try a small piece of blue-tach to keep it in place untill the replacemne arrives

Looks as if this will be added to the growing list of S-1 switch reliablity issues......But still let not forget what an Innovative Quality Fender Product the S-1 switch really is (not loosing any fender loyailty points here)!:D

Hope this helps

Andy

Thanks a lot, I took the knob off, and put it back and now I just pushed the tip bit deeper, and the problem is fixed!!:D
