I just love my 62' strat, the volume/tone roll off makes it sound sweet no matter what the situation, NO electronic dodads needed. I recently gave my son a 69' tele (I know CBS) I however tweeked it with a vintage humbucker in the bridge postion. He is now able to play his form of music ala misfits and the such.

Glad you are enjoying your new ax and as far as the CBS 69 Tele I am hoping you put a stacked humbucker in there and did not route it as that is a 5K guitar if not more.

Open a free account at any pic hosting site such as photobucket. Once you register you upload the pic to your page. After it uploads, you copy the code and paste on here.

Is that a 62 reissue?
I'm starting to get the fever for one of those.I'll have to wait awhile though since last month I bought a 57RI.

I'm with Straycat there it would be a very costly mistake to rout out cavity to put in a humbucker. As a matter of fact I wouldn't have done anything to a Tele of that vintage as even CBS Fenders are going up in value and any mods reversable or not greatly affect the value as even the original solder joins are prefered by collectors and new solder means not original, yes collectors are that fussy.
