Hey Guys!
I only wanna ask u what differences are between the "normal" signature strat and the custom shop clapton strat.

it would be nice if u can answer very fast ;)

I heard that the ordinary ones sometimes have some wood impurities in the neck....and overall quality of the CS version is better.

the CS signatures are the exact instrument that Clapton would be using. Everything is exact on them.

the normal signatures are based closely on the artist model, but they have to change a few things to make it more mass produced and affordable model.

if you want something close to clapton's guitar, get the normal artist series model. if you want the exact thing, get the CS model.

either way, both are great guitars.

I've had my custom Clapton strat for six months, and it is definitely worth the investment. Custom shop means that there was no production line assembly, and the builder tags it with his/her name. The quality of the craftmanship was better than my American Deluxe Strat. Go for the custom shop model, you can't go wrong with it and it will never loose value.
