You should go into a shop, pretend you have money and play a custom shop relic. If you love the road worns, your heart just might stop when you pick up one of those. ^^

Which neck is thinner/slimmer.......the road worn 60's strat or the road worn 50's strat? I have only had a chance to play the 60's strat and it feels really nice. What does the soft v 50's neck feel like.....slim or chunky?

Thanks :?:

Rock yes. Hard rock... Maybe with the help of a good pedal. I play mostly the heavy stuff and the RW can't cut it alone in that arena in my opinion.

Topic has come up many times. I think they are cool gits, but would never buy one. The single ply pick guards are easily warped.

I just tried the 60's Road Worn Strat yesterday, and it was awesome! Might even buy it someday if I would somehow get 900 bucks

I agree with this, but I think this is more a single-coil vs humbucker issue. There is a reason why 99% of heavy players use humbuckers.
