Only proves that it is a fender neck, not a Deluxe, or even strictly an American Fender neck. Seen all them holes, stickers and markings on mexican and american necks. What we really need to see is a photo of the floor of the neckpocket. That will show whether theres a microtilt mechanism in place.

Cherokee they are not S1 pickups.

What does that mean? How are American Deluxe holes any different?

What I would be more concerned with is how the bass side of the fretboard sits higher in relation to the underside of the neck, than the treble side.

There are a number of reasons that hole is there. It could as you and I suspect be another neck, made to look like a deluxe neck.

It could be a deluxe neck that has been used on a standard body for a bit.

The important thing is that neither you, I or anyone else here believes the guitar to be what it is advertized as. Stay far away from it. We just dont know what it is.
