What do Ya think?

Its a joke. The SRV signature strat has gold hardware, lefty tremolo, and the SRV letters are not the same. Why does it have no serial number? Why does the back have a battery door? Someone took a neck, stripped it down, glued on some lables and relaquered. Its a total fake!

I think a few of us are over reacting. The guy clearly states it is a partsacaster and is not trying to deceive anyone. I personally do not think it looks as bad as some are claiming.

Just my own opinion as always but I think the single main reason folks are have such a negative reaction to this instrument is simply because of the price. I ran it thru a currency converter and that came out to around $595 US and that guitar is -NOT- worth even close to that much....as I said earlier, maybe $100 tops and that's probably pushing it a bit...$75 would probably be "fair". Because of the price I don't think it's really over-reacting as much as simple shock that someone would have the balls to put that kind of price on such a total piece of crap.

Obviously the seller is being (more or less) honest about what it is...it's just that the price is -WAY- out there.

I think we've pretty much established all of that

Peace,
Jim

Actually, that's not completely bad compared to some other SRV copies I've seen. I still wouldn't buy it though, even if it were $100.

I fail to see the issue here. He clearly states that it isn't a Fender.
