I know this may sound crazy but I'm thinking about swapping out my Duncan SSL-1's for some 2000 MIM strat pickups in '07 HWY 1 strat. The Duncans sound to shrill at times and before I removed the pickups from the MIM strat if I remember correctly they sound better to my ears. This is all I can afford right now sooo what do you guys think.

I have a 200 MIM Strat and I love the sound of it when played clean or overdriven hard,it's a great sound,I'd say go for the swap.
