Does anyone have a new Floyd Rose Strat? Does the neck have holes on the back near the head stock for the screws from the locking nut?

I'm thinking of buying one and I didn't know about the holes.

here's a pic from the sale ad ...

Thanks chanman - I had an older MIJ one from the late 80s or early 90s and there were no holes.

Are you sure that MIJ had a Floyd and not a System 1 trem? I could be wrong but I think I've seen some of the "Contemporary" MIJ's where the locking nut was surface mount...

Peace,
Jim

It actually was a Kahler. I guess I meant Floyd Rose type trem. The screws that held the nut on did not go through.
