Hi Kong!

Your wiring looks fine to me and I agree the white pickup covers look better than the aged ones. The body looks very cool with the pickguard on 8)

I like that neck too! Is it in stock or are you having Warmoth make it for you?

Oh well back to waiting.....umm.....Is it ready yet?

How 'bout this for a neck?

Holy Cow -- that body assembly is just b-e-a-u-ti-ful!!

The neck you have selected will be a perfect match, too.

Fabulous work!

Agreed!

And that neck would look amazing on that body!

That neck is in stock, but I'll call them because I want them to cut the nut. Its maple with pau ferro fretboard. I think it is harder and brighter than maple. It is compound radius with med jumbo frets and I'll go with vintage nickel or chrome tuners. It is almost a guitar - 3 weeks to go.

Holy hot looking guitars, Batman!

BTW: when's the wedding, Kong and BrideofKong? ...You going to play that guitar for your star turn in the evening? Are you going to thank me for suggesting that, BoK? :D

Thanks Ceri - Can't wait to finish the sanding / polishing.

Wedding will by July 24. Not sure if the guitar will be ready by then. I think BoK gets quite enough of my "playing" on a regular basis.

PS thanks to all for the continued nice comments. I ordered the neck today.

Are the frets stainless by chance? 'Cause you'd love 'em.

I wanted to try the stainless, but I didn't want to wait for one to be built so I grabbed and in-stock neck. I do plan another project after the summer and may order a neck with stainless frets for that one. (can you say matching tele?)

July 24, less than a month! What's a star turn? I've never heard of it! And he's right, he plays lots and I hear lots, I often fall asleep to him playing. But I wouldn't be surprised if a guitar showed up for some late night jamming.

Aaaah, so ruthless with the boy - when you're marrying him in less than a month!

Hey, wedding bells on the Forum - I think that's a first? How can we all join in? Thinking caps on, folks...
