If it's warranty work they have authorized repair centers. and yes they will do non warranty work most of the time. Sometimes it's actuallly a bigger part of there business than warranty work. You should be able to get the address for the nearest center on this website under support. Try to isolate the problem with some of the suggestions posted before you contact them. Good Luck

To get an idea of whats involved with installing a new nut check out stewmac.com You can spend a small fortune on all the stuff to do it right.

Ah man that neck relief issue is likely the cause of all your woes if its that bad. Still it is fixable. User Twelvebar in particular has experience of working on twisted/excessively warped necks. It's hard to pinpoint without putting a hand to the guitar, make no doubt the neck condition throws a whole new light on the problem.

Fender dont carry out a reapir service themselves, can you imagine how inundated their phone lines would be with kids wanting their pickguards changed? They set up a network of repair centers/autorized repair people, for just that.

Ok now I'm sure theres a repairperson in Winsconsin,

This lot look pretty nifty to me

As do this crowd.

I'll be the first to admit you have me geographicaly challenged. If you google guitar repair central Winsconsin, it comes up with a good few results though.

I know its a big place, it must be worth a day out though to get your axe fixed. One thing is for sure, without putting a hand on the guitar were not going to get to the bottom of it.

All the best mate.

I printed out the list of Authorized Service centers, and am going to call and talk with them till I find one that I'm comfortable with. Seeing as the one closest to me I wouldn't trust to change strings, its going to be a drive. I might as well find someone that has an idea about how to fix it before I drive all over my state.

Thanks for all the help!
