Okay guys, my question is in regards to replacing the Humbucker in my HSS.

The reason i want to change it out is cosmetic.

I hate the white pick guard. So i am replacing it with a black pick guard along with the knobs and switch tips .

I also want to replace the cover on the pick ups. This is no problem when it comes to the single coils. I ordered new black covers. The Humbucker is the problem. I have to replace the entire pick up.

Question is , can i get a stock replacement in the color BLACK ?
If so where ?

If not, then what Humbucker pickup should i use to replace it ? By the way,I like the sound of the stock humbucker just fine.

Thanks for your time.

If you play blues, grab a Duncan Pearly Gates; it cleans up nicely when the volume knob is rolled back and gets gritty as you roll-on the db's. For rock, I would suggest a Duncan JB; it's got plenty of bite for all but death metal, has a nice balance of highs, mids and lows so it cuts through, and fits well with Alder or Ash bodies.
