Hey,

Purchased this really great and much played 1994 MIM Fender Strat.
It even has a mint green pick guard. A real funky color combo.

I keep going back and forth about repainting it and upgrading
the pickups and electronics, or leaving it alone and just playing it.

The Fender color guide shows it as Lucerne Aqua Firemist
Color Code 99.

The darker picture is just with the lights in the family room, the other one is direct sunlight.

I need to find a DuPont number for the paint shop to mix
a can of color.

Many thanks in advance,
BC

I like the color as it is. If it was me I'd just enjoy the guitar and play it :-)

I've never really liked the mint green colored pickguards, but it looks good on your guitar. I say keep it.

To refinish that instrument would be akin to sacrilege! Leave that beautiful guitar alone! You'll ruin the MOJO! It needs to be played!

For sure, MIM Strats of this color are Lake Placid Blue. I saw the hang tags for one just like this a while back......
