I agree all that! Plus, being a lefty makes that a double.

Yeah, I agree that Strat owners are a bit nuts. I think the price plays a large part in thier collectibility, and regardless of how cheap they are they're simply just great guitars. I've never had or played a disappointing Strat and I think there's more difference between them than people often credit. I've currently got five and sorely tempted to get this beauty as my sixth.

Interesting question, and timely for me. Someone important in the household had suggested that as I had two Strats I didn't really need them both and should maybe sell one. So tonight I compared them back to back - my CP 50's and 60's models. Well, you already know the result: although they're both Strats, they're completely different - different feel, different playability, different sounds, and of course different wiring.

Yes I believe the consensus overwhelmingly is that they are versatile and outside of the shape different from model to model. Though I know there are people that have quite a few of the same model which as a guitarist I find normal.lol I have 4 Strats and they are all different. I have an Ultra, Clapton, Beck and American Ash Deluxe and they are all different guitars. If I get another it would be a Dave Murray for the dual Humbuckers and not because I am a Maiden fan as I dont own one album but I love that ax.

what year is your G&L ... if its after 1991 .. i highly doubt Leo built it . unless hes using his coffin's wood to make the guitar from 6 feet under ...

Mine is a 1983 F-100 and under the neck, on the body, it is SINGED by LEO FENDER and I came on a fender forum and tell you guys about a G&L Guitar because They are way better then a start and they cast less. If you by a Fender then you are just bying the name Fender thats because Fender thinks that they are the best so they don't change any thing now with a G&L you are bying a great guitar. Fender: leo's first guitar. G&L: leo's last[/quote]

Maybe if Leo Fender singed a guitar it should be in the Haul of Fame?

Or maybe I'm a stickler for the spelling because I was a 'Sign' Painter until a detached retina made that impossible.
