OK..

As soon as my account balance allows I'll seek out some CS '69s and try 'em out. The ones that were in my bandmate's Classic Player MIM were set fairly low and damn, did they sound sweet! Even thru a JCM900 4500... =)

I agree with whoever it was that said the HWY1 is a highly playable guitar. Love the jumbo frets and the overall look. Nice tone controls, they have a much more sturdy feel than the ones in my banged up and worn out MIM. The headstock on the HWY1 is my fave. I always felt that the "new" headstock was too small and upset the "balance" of the guitar when it comes too good looks.

I played a strat the first 12 years and while the switch between an SG and a strat isn't always intuitive I'd never feel that my arsenal was complete without a strat.

I love 'em both.
