Been a real labour of love and the guitar isnt worth as much as the parts making it up let alone the labour hours cost.
I wouldnt be without it though.

WOW both guitars look great. I am going to do something similar with my strat w/locking tuners, and i'm changing out the standard nut and trees....i have Hot Lace Sensors in it already. Might do pearloid pick guard.

Ryan where did you get your Neck Plate. I would love to get something like that for my strat. Really adds a nice touch to it!

Ryan,

I've never seen your guitar before, thank you for re-posting it. It is a beautiful guitar. The custom neck plate is a nice touch. I really love that beautiful natural finish.

Mine's nothing special to look at, but it sure screams!

'91 Strat
Kluson tuners
Graph Tech Tusq nut
7.25" radius board
Neck/Mid - Tex Specials
Bridge - Duncan JB (SH4)
3 springs and hold true even with moderate trem use.
sorry, the pic is old and grainy...

I can't imagine how sweet that birdseye maple looks in person, I bet it's almost hypnotizing o_O

I can see why Ryan feels stupid for posting it, it always ends up taking over the thread for 10+ posts >_> As well it should, because that guitar is that awesome ^^

Niki: Thats fantastic work. Exactly how did you reshape the neck to fit your hand better? U to a C? or maybe an off-center shaping? Did you keep the shape uniform across the neck or change it as you got higher up. Between this and the Red Burst that Ceri's fixing up, you're getting some awesome gear at the moment (are you getting the burnt MIM back or is ceri keeping it?)

Ryan: That natural finish is fantastic. I'm a big fan of that finish (own two guitars finished like that myself). Great work

gmagliocco: Did you do the finish yourself?
