Pringle420 Thanks for all of the info. My wife has a small business and she occasionally ships to Canada. I feel your pain about shipping across the boarder. ('')

PS Great job with the Olympics. Took a lot off of my playing time but worth it.

No problem, that's what we're all here for. To help.

Shipping up over the 49th is getting easier. Musicians Friend is adding products every day that ship up here. It's only been in last year or so that Canadian companies have listed Fender prices online. MF will not ship any New Fender product, they JUST started shipping Used Fender instruments. So it is getting better. Although if I wanted any Gibson product, I could get with no hassle from MF.

Thanks for the Olympic comment. I thought it was a great show. Didn't get much playing done either. We're all very proud of what our athletes accomplished.

Good luck with the pickguard search, I know there are tons out there.

Don't always go by the price that Guitar Center has marked. Always go in and talk to someone. Especially in today's economy, they will come down off of that price. I payed 44 dollars for my tort shell and that included shipping and tax (and my guy at GC shipped it right to my front door!)
