hi folks,

does somebody use above pu combi on his/her strat? i looking for warm fat clean and singing lead sound on the neck pu position and a hard & heavy sound on the bridge?
i'm not finished with surching for strat shaped guitars with this combi and till now i found a esp ltd mh-1000nt but i don't like the head plate.

all experiences with those modified strat or known of other brands with this combi please let me know.

One of my Strats has a JB (SH4) bucker in the bridge and it gives great pinch harmonics, overtones, sustain and growls.

I'm currently using Texas Specials in neck and middle with it.

Hey Miami Mike,

I'm looking into doing that exact setup. I love the sound of the Texas Specials Middle and Neck clean, but find the bridge to be well, annoying and almost thin. How versatile has your tonal playing experience been with that setup? I'm not expecting a deep hardening crunch like my SG pulls off, but something with more gusto and a touch of grumble. Figured coil tapping would be a great adventure
