How does this strat sound to you. I have been experimenting with different setups, strings, bridge configurations, etc... to the point that I don't even know what I'm hearing anymore...LOL.

I think this is a good combination though, but need some other peoples ears to tell for sure, because my ears are so fatigued, I can't even tell what I'm listening for anymore.

Setup is as follows:

Guitar: American Standard Strat
Guitar Settings: switch at position 4 (neck/middle), all knobs at 10
Guitar Pickup Height: all set to 1/8th inch base side and 3/32nd inch treble side (with strings fretted at last fret)
Guitar Action: 1/16th inch at 17th fret
Bridge: floating to 1/8th inch
Strings: DR EH-11 TITE-FIT (nickel plated round core 11-14-18p-28-38-50)
Pick: Dunlop Ultex 1.0
Effects: Digitech RP150 pedal (just chorus and delay)
Amp: Fishman SoloAmp (acoustic amp/PA)

Here is the test clip...

It's just me noodling around with some strumming progressions.

For some reason it seems to sound better with the bridge floating (unless my ears are playing tricks on me). More jangle or something.

Anyway, let me know if it sounds good or not, and thanks for listening.

Nice tone ... we have similar tastes when it comes to clean tone, a "little wet" as I like to thin of it. Nice ... I was just waiting for Greg Lake to start singing over it.

Sounds sweet! Forgive my ignorance, but do you have the chord progressions you were noodling on? I would like to fool around with those a bit. I am too new to just pick them all out by ear.
