Tied for 1st: Gilmour & Clapton (they are the reasons I ever wanted to play a guitar in the first place!

Second: Blackmore (played the first riff I ever wanted to play! 'Smoke on the Water')

Third: Knopfler (Just a great player and fun to watch)

Fourth: Buddy Guy (Another inspiration!)

Fifth: John Frusciante (Simply Great!)

John Mayer (Disclaimer: Almost makes the list; but, due to his big mouth and all his antics of late he's not there. If he'd just stick to making music, he's one of the best!)
