Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

1. Eddie Van Halen (I have an HSS which is perfect)
2. Buddy Guy
3. John Frusciante
4. Jimi Hendrix
5. John Mayer (love his music)

I've always loved Pink Floyd and David Gilmore, and I enjoy playing it on Acoustic but I'd be lying if I said I play a lot of PF on my strat.

I'm just starting to play SRV, Jeff Beck (OMG! he's amazing!), Clapton ect.

I must state that I'll mis-categorize Buddy Guy as long as I live.

I know he's defined by Chicago Blues, but goodness his hands are as "dirty Rock'n'Roll" as anyone I've ever heard - I can listen to him tear up that fretboard all day.

I'll put a playlist on my MP3 player which will go from AC/DC "Shook Me All Night Long" right into Buddy Guy's "Best Damn Fool" and it makes perfect sense musically.

This is pretty much impossible! My favorites change depending on my mood. These are my current faves, but tomorrow it'll probably be five different pickers.

1. Rory Gallagher
2. Jimi Hendrix
3. Ritchie Blackmore
4. Robin Trower
5. Buddy Holly
