I own a metallic blue 1986 made in USA Fender Stratocaster, but the thing is, it has a double E prefix and then the serialnumber. Does anyone know what this means?
Could it be that this Strat dates from the time that Fender USA officially didin'd exist anymore for a few years and, only produced a handfull of guitars a day?
Can anybody help me?

EE and 5 numbers were made at the Corona Plant in the mid/late 80's and were made for Export.
