If you want decent pickups for your Strat at affordable prices try Guitar Fetish Store. You wont regret it.

I'd vote the Lace Sensors!

I have a MIM Strat w/ Fender Gold Lace Sensors in the neck and middle positions and a Seymour Duncan Hot Rails in the bridge. My main objective was to get away from the hum of standard Strat pickups. The Lace Sensors have a nice, tight, clean sound. The Seymour Duncan is HOT, and it produces lots of harmonics when distorted. The Seymour Duncan also balances well with the Lace Sensor when the selector switch is in that second position - nice, nasal tone!

You don't mention what sort of budget you have for your replacement pickups. The pickups from Guitar Fetish Store are superb and they are not your average cheap pickups if you look at the link below these are the pickups i have in my Modded Mexican & Squier Strats. Seriously consider these as an alternative to Fender, Duncan, Di-marzio or any of the big name manufacturers.

I have a MIM Fat Strat and put a Duncan JB in the bridge and CS Fat 50's in the neck and middle pickups. The second position of the pickup selector is wired out of phase. LOVE the sounds from the guitar, huge upgrade over the stock pickups. :P

If you have a Standard Strat instead of a HSS like mine, the 50's are highly recommended.
