I have a MIM strat that I'm probably going to put lace sensors in, but it all depends on the style of music your playing

Besides the stock MIM pickups, I had a set of "Hot Noiseless" on a really nice midnight wine...

no expert on pickups but have been researching on different selections and tones. fender noiseless are sweet by what i have read, if your looking for heavier tones look for somarian cobalt noiseless by fender, vintage sound, well vintage noiseless, and if you want the steavie ray vaughn get texas special. the other seymour duncan, ive read good and bad reviews.
i guess do a little research before you buy them.

I'll second the SCN's, those are really nice, they shine with a little dirt.

Try some Texas Specials if you don't like brightness.

When ever I go to upgrade a guitar with new pickups, I generally go into my local shop, tell them what im looking for in my pickup and play a couple different guitars that have different pickups so I can get an idea of what I like, if I like what I get from the pickups then I buy em...
