I own a Highway 1 HSS and I want to clean/polish it and if possible take off the scratches I did with my pick but I don't know what to use...
I guess I've been playing too agressively (I'm a damn n00b). I actually broke a Gibson pick in my hands while playing my guitar... no wonder I break strings all the time lol :)
Need help please

If you want to clean your wood try murphys oil soap.

Pure carnuba paste wax (NOT CLEANER WAX) will polish your highway one very nicely. I use it regularly.

Still awsome! lol

So I use murphy's oil soup to clean the rosewood neck and carnauba paste to clean the body (Satin Nitrocellulose Lacquer Finish) right?

This is my Strat:

You could even use the oil soap to clean all the wood (remove the dirt and grime) and then use the carnuba wax (carnuba is a type, not a brand) on the body. Don't wax the fretboard.

Nice Guitar
