Hi guys,

I recently bought a new original Fender golden bridge. When I tried to change the tip of the trem arm from white to black I noticed it did not fit. After measuring, to my surprise, I noticed that he arm was 5 mm in diameter while the tip is for a standard? arm is 3/16 inch, 4.75 mm.
5 mm block and arm fit smoothly so they were made for each other.

Does anyone knows what types of Stratocaster has the 3/16 inch and what types has the 5 mm?
Simply put, what is the difference?
