moreless around 3 mos ago i purchased 3 tone sunburst hwy1 strat sss, loved it, payed 599 the others were 749, so i was pleased with the deal.
recently i placed an order for a white squire deluxe with duncan designed pus, backordered til jan 2008. cancelled that order, due to other issues couldnt purchase anything else until sat. went to GC to purchase an epiphone masterbilt, came with case, awesome sound. however didnt notice had a crack on back panel until at home. i went to exchange it on sunday and to my surprise, the guitar i had been eyeing since i bought the sunburst was there hny blonde rosewood fretboard for 388. happened to be a 60th ann,2006, a tiny, and i mead tiny nick bottom of the body, got a reduction in price to 349 after little hagling, sickkkkkkk.
needs new strings though, but still sounds great. fender SCN are going in this baby, in a few mos. texas special in the 3 tone sunburst.
a little fyi, my buddy works there, major sale on black friday.
i even saw a mim black strat for 250. if i had the cash, that would have been mine too. anyways, thought i would give you guys a heads up.
im not employed or have anything to gain, just my gratitude for the
awesome guitar. jar

actually, after playing this guitar, its set up quite nicely, i guess after sitting at the store for so long, someone probably took a crack at it and set up perfect.this is the hny blonde, causing me to notice that actuall my 07 sunburst hwy1 needs professional set up. action is not too high, but can be alittle lower like my blondie.
do you know if guitar center does that kind of work?
