Hi Guido_59

Your Classic Strat have the 6 points ( 6 screws ) original vintage tremolo !

You want to put a "modern" 2 screws or pivot ?

my question is related to yours. is it possible to fit a tremolo arm for a 2 screw strat tremolo bridge on a vintage 6 hole strat bridge?

No you can not use this tremolo arm.

Vintage one is very diffrent It's screw on the hole and modern one , just snap on the hole

Why you want to change ? Have you any problem with ?

I have no problem reason to change :great excursion of tremolo arm and bridge stability
I like American Vintage Synchronized Tremolo like 57 reissue or Gilmour replica or other.
You see here:
http://img638.imageshack.us/g/1tremolo.jpg/

Now I have type 1-tremolo on sunburst strat , I like 2-tremolo on black strat.
Is right now ?

Are you French ? I love mountain near Chamonix , croissants and fromages.
Italian food about you talk are:
gelato: oyu found it everywhere
cannoli :speciality of Sicilia isle in the south of Italy

I live in Bologna in the north of Italy.
Here our food speciality are : -
- tortellini ( egg pasta with soup )
-tagliatelle al ragù ( egg pasta with meat sauce)
-Lasagne (egg oven-baken pasta with meat sauce )
In Bologna there the most ancient world University :
University of Bologna Alma Mater Studiorum 1088 dC

Near Bologna there is the Official Importer for Italy of Fender.

If you remember the name fo company post it here.
Bye
Guido

Wilkinson/Gotoh has a six-screw vintage style trem available...they're pretty pricey though! Couple hundred USD, give or take.

They're also very nice quality.

Hi Guido.

In order to replace the tremolo on your CP50, you would have to remove the two pivot bushings and fill the holes. I'm not sure it is worth the trouble and it would probably be best to take it to a luthier to do the work for you. Not unless you are a good wood worker yourself.

Good luck

This is frustrating. Over a year ago I ran across a site that made a conversion kit that used the existing anchors from a two-point but I can't find it for the life of me.

I try to contact a a luthier about work and ask him the cost .
Maybe I ask him also for pickup upgrade, but in this case I have problem of choice: what's the better for blues first, and generally second ?
Bye
