You'll most likely need a USA trem arm, since Highway One's are MIA. But I'm not 100% sure because I don't own one.

The Highway 1 uses a Vintage style 6 hole Trem so you would need the screw in type like on MIM's.

If you can, take it to a guitar store and ask them if you can try the trem bar before buying. That's how I tracked down a replacement trem for my Squier after I stripped the original. I'm glad I actually went there and tested it, because it took two stores before I found one that fit well enough.

Chet, I thought MIA and MIM parts were not interchangeable ? Correct me if I`m wrong....

Although the Highway 1 is Made (Assembled) in the USA, the tremolo parts are made then shipped to USA from Mexico. It is a cost cutting thing. On another thread some one pointed it out that the Highway 1's body and neck are made in the USA, and the smaller parts are Made in Mexico. And who knows where the electronics are out-sourced from. It is essentially 15% MIM and 85% MIA. This allows a MIA status by some trade law.

Don't get me wrong, I love my Highway 1 Stratocaster and would not ever part with it.

I do believe it is a MIM Tremolo bar as well. I also agree with TGS and recommend taking it to an authorized Fender Technician to get the correct scoop as I may be wrong.

MIM Standards are M5 but if it has a vintage tremolo ( like the Classic Series or Classic Players) then it is the same as an American Strat, 10-32.

According to Fender specs' the highway One has the "Vintage Style" tremolo.
