Thought I should introduce myself, I just signed up on-line a couple weeks ago thought it was about time. A little about me, I live in Kitchener Ontario, I've been playing guitar for about 20 years on and off, took the last few years off, sold off most of my gear over the years, ended up at local music shop a couple weeks ago and found a beautiful American Deluxe Strat, with the Canadian dollar doing so well I couldn't pass it up. Now I'm looking for a nice tube amp (any recommendations would be appreciated) I have a decent Flextone Tubetone, does a nice job but not quite the same.

Welcome, great choice of guitars, I have the American deluxe ash model and it really has some great sounds. I have a blues deville 410 and Hot Rod Deluxe. I like the sound of tubes and Fender seems to have some nice sounding amps priced for most budgets. Good luck!

Hi, I have been using a Hot Rod Deville 410 with my Clapton "Blackie". I used other amps with my Strat but this one sounds so good.

Good luck

how's it going. man thats one sexy guitar 8) i love maple fretboards. as for an amp, i don;t know about you, but my dream amp is one of the vox ac30's. they're great for killer classic tones(late 50's to late 70's)

Thanks for the input eveyone, I ended up picking up a Hot Rod Blues Deluxe (tweed) on the weekend, the local music shop had their Fender days and I couldn't pass up the deal.

My stepson lives in Kitchener with his fiance who's from there. Beautiful area! I guess I now know 2 of the 20 people who live there!
