I love, love, love my '06 Highway One Strat that I play through a Blues Junior. I got the Strat for 500 including a hard case that's over $100 at GC because it's wine transparent rose wood the most beautiful color combo of all time especially once you buff out the Strat playing it and the wood shines through like a moonglow.

I mentioned a little fret buzz with the amp off on like frets 5-7. Asked a "luthier" at GC about it and he said sometimes need a fret dressing, yada yada give me $100. No thanks. Well, it ain't the freakin' frets folks.

Alert, "fret" buzz may not be that at all. My frets are good meaning no fretting out with full bends at the 22d fret. There was just that little bit of buzz on those 5-7 riffs. So I graphite the hell out of the nut, the saddles, the stringtrees, and every other point of contact. It was real hard because I had to get a pencil. I half-@ssed it, of course, because I was in a hurry to play and just wanted to see what happened. Strings on just around the strings and a bit on the strings right at the contact point just because that's a pencil lead and it's hitting all the contact points.

Buzz is gone, gone, gone. Quiet as a church, aside from "You Lost Your Good Thing Now." By the way, that's one of the all time great guitar songs. I love to play it.

There's fret buzz and string buzz (new strings).
