Please stop the signature guitars.
Make your own sig.

I think it will come in time. I think it is going to be one of those situations where the Peppers are going to go away and then a few years later people will start realizing how good Frusciante really was. In the mean time I am just enjoying his work on the new Mars Volta albums. And if you haven't seen it, there are some jam sessions of Flea, John, and Omar of the Mars Volta on youtube that are worth checking out.

that would be rediculous seeing as how he refuses to play any kind of modern fender anyway, so making a fruciante model would just be an oxymoron.

i agree, enough with the signature models already.

I am not crazy about the sig models and the price to boot. I love my new American strat but it will get nicks and scratches along the way just like my 81 charvel that looks like hell. the difference is that it happened naturally and is a way of looking at my past, not trying to have someone else's. If I could buy one of their actual guitars than thats another story.

John F. is an awesome player, but -I agree, a sig is a bit pointless. It would just be a '62 RI :D

I used to be a huge Chili Peppers fan, but I grew tired of them. I actualy think that dont think John is very good technicaly, but to me that isnt too important anyway, what he realy shines at is simple emotional riffs. For instance, if you listen to One Hot Minute where Dave Nevarro plays guitar you can realy tell the difference. Dont get me wrong, I prefer John anyday.

When I think about I think I read once that John started playing guitar at a young age, but quit after a few years because he could not play like his heros and only started again after he had seen the Chilis live. I might be wrong about this though, its years since I read it.
