This is a Pop Quiz that I do not have the answer for....hoping you do :shock:

Robert Cray?...excuse my ignorance but I have heard of him by name but had no idea until I youtubed him just now. nice stuff......Like I have mentioned before, I only started playing guitar in Dec of '08 @ 35 years old so forgive my ignorance. Checked out mostly everyone else from santana to clapton and beck to buddy guy and mark knopler and JM who of lately I am having issues with but that's just me....

he uses a custom shop in crossroads, he has an mim
signature.

Jimmy Vaughn uses an mim.

Food for thought and on a tangent: I honestly wonder why some people feel so vehemently compelled to defend him. I also wonder if these same people ever stopped to think that if the situation was the inverse, would he defend them at all, let alone as vigorously?

I agree with both of you. I posted the thread to see what people really thought of the guy. I guess now we know...but I will no longer post threads of such ilk because they deteriorate quite rapidly....I didn't want to go into the thread myself...and I started it....my fault....as far as JM goes, his guitar playing is better than mine...for now....... and thats all I have to say about that :shock: :lol: ....ignorant no more........ 8)

Do the cats you guys are naming actually play MIM guitars, or is it just that their "Signature Model" is produced in Mexico to keep the price down?

Here's a PRS example, Alexi Laiho has a PRS SE Signature model. The PRS that he plays is the real deal, not the SE version.
