I posted the reply I got...

My email to Fender went like this:

Hi!

I was wondering if it would be possible to get information on my guitar, a Made In Mexico Stratocaster vintage 2005/6 by the serial number. MZ5XXXXXX I just bought it "new" and the plastic and stickers were still on the pick guard and trem cover but no tags or other literature were included. I was wondering if I could get any available information regarding this instrument such as what type of wood the body is made from, what pickups it uses, any special or notable features the instrument might have. I assume from a Tone 2 detente at the #10 position that it has Delta Tone and with a 9v battery it also has active electronics but I know little else about the instrument.

Your assistance would be greatly appreciated! Thank you kindly in advance!

I hope my second reply to fender works .This was my first fender purchase and may be my last I don't like dealing with companies that don't take care of there customers.I have several other brands of guitars always e-mailed company got exact specs. I only have bought from one company(D**N GUITARS) that did'nt keep good records.Maybe everything will be cool if they e-mail me back in few days.I sure do hear alot of good things about fenderon this web site.
