ok here is y problem i have an early 1980,s 62 reissue strat i sure is japanees . soe how th rosewood board is shrunk on the bass and treble sides of the eck fro about the 14th fret. i would estiate it around 1/32nd to 1/64th of an incnch o each sid ay ideas as to hoe to getthe rosewood to expand

not lose at all ust there is a small area on both sides of neck wher rosewood shrank ad y can see mapleuder the slab

I vote for the humidifier. Store your guitars in their cases, not on stands or hanging from the wall. At the first sign of something like this use the humidifier. Don't expect the condition to cure overnight.

From the 14th fret on has shrunk the rest is OK! :wink: Fret board attached to maple neck shrinks in one area stays in place in another! Wood shrinks it moves ane effects what holding it in place.

I would rub some lemon oil in the rosewood fretboard, and put a humidifier in the case.
