Post subject: I Made The Big Move Today

I have been thinking about buying a Strat for some time now, and finally found one I really liked. My buddy has a Vintage Hot Rod 57 he was gonna sell me, at the last min. he decided to keep it, I really could'nt blame him.
So over the weekend I ordered a new 1, and with the special Presidents Day sale I got it for about $1450, only $150 more than what my buddy wanted 4 his (he paid over $1800) Can't wait to get it, it should be here Mon. or Tues. It will be a fine addition to my Les Paul. COME ON UPS !!!!

I think you are really going to be content with a 57 hotrod!! Never played one but from what I gather here on the forum and from super member Nikininja it's a great guitar. Will be a wonderful addition to you Les Pauls!! Congratulations and please post pictures when you can!! :) 8)

Once I get it and stop druling all over it, re-clean it, stop shaking, and the wife stops beating on me, I'll post some pix. (just kiddin bout the wife, she told me to get it, wish I had another just like her)

Sure did thank her today, took her shopping, and dinner. WHAT A GIRL !!
Didn't want anything fancy either. (Although I did just spend $1000 fixing her truck)
