Hello,

I have Aerodyne Strat with serial S000693 (Crafted In Japan), but i can't find this kind of serials in Fender official site.
Could anyone clearify this situation to me, please?

Thanks beforehand

Hey! I just picked up one today. It sat at Music City in North Bay,Ontario Canada for four years. Black/Cream Binding/No Pickguard. Anyway, to the best of my understanding the Letter "S" is the key indicator. Q + Digits = 2004. R + Digits = 2005. S + Digits = 2006. Hope this is helpful.

Cheers!

Your guitar was made at the
Fuji-gen Plant (for Fender Japan), Japan
in the Year(s): 2005 - 2006

Thanks, but where this information was taken from? It's interesting, cause i have not found "S" key on Fender site.

My question was about the absence of my serial on Fender official site. This looks strange..

It is an excellent question Gleb. I don't have an answer. I could speculate that it is because Fender.com is more interested in promoting Made in the USA. Back in the day (very early 80's) when the first Japanese Strats where returned to the Fullerton plant the quality was mind boggeling. It still is. There is a fellow on Youtube demonstarting an Aerodyne, and he goes on at some length regarding this fact. That said, the simpler the explanation the more likely it is closer to the truth: It could be that the Serial Number list has not been updated since 2005. (It's only 2010 after all!) Try: www.xhefriguitars.com/page14.html

My difficult question is: I have an '00 Stratocaster Subsonic. I'd like to know how many were produced during their very short production run.

Cheers![/img]
