7 pups?-My dog only had 3.Seriously though that's an interesting concept and allows for a myriad of tonal posibilities if you opt for the mini toggle suggestion that Ceri proposed.I'd love to see and hear the finished product, best of luck with it.Why not call it The conSEPT as sept is french for seven.

The concept is based on the film "Seven Samurai". With each pickup representing a member of the group. Pretentious, I know..

That was made by Peavey? I thought it was probably just made by some dude. Cool though, I like it!

In case anyone is interested....

I bought two SPST on/off switches from radioshack and hooked them up to a single coil strat pickup and a double humbucker strat pickup. Additionally, I had a telecaster bridge pickup jacked in directly.

I had all the leads (post switch) jammed into one pot input (for volume) and connected another in tandem for tone.

It worked perfectly!

The switches operated the on/off of the humbuckers, all pickups got signal and the pot didn't blow.

Meaning I can wired all 7 pickups with individual switches and have them coming to one master volume and master tone, or do individual tones for each pickup.

It must be played through an amp that goes up to 11 ... 12 is even better.

If you extend the cavity wouldn't that push your bridge back, thereby messing up your intonation?

No. He is not moving the bridge back. He is routing the cavity so that 7 single coils will fit. With a standard routing, you would only be able to fit maybe four.
