I just wanted to post this - I recently took my '91 strat to a professional for some work - I have always worked on my guitars when small things needed done, and know my way around them pretty well, or at least I thought - and im sure most of you guys probably do the same

He did a fret dressing on this guitar and worked on the action, intonation, the whole 9 yards, completely set this guitar up - he adjusted the pick up height too

Long story short, this thing plays and sounds better than any strat I have ever owned, played, anything! Needless to say, im sending a few of mine up to him over the holidays and letting him work his magic on them as well!

I agree. I do my own minor things, but once a year I send out the Les Paul and the Hummingbird to my guy. He is amazing. He even builds his own. They play like a million bucks when they come back.

I've always intended to get a 'proper' pro setup, but never got around to it. Maybe I'll treat my Strat Plus to a service for Christmas!
