I never heard of a 5760 until I saw your post. I had to google it. Maybe you should too. Body wood is alder. The bridge is probably the same as a MIM 50's or 60's Classic series, so not as hefty as a block as MIA Reissues.

Google is your friend. Here ya go: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&sour ... f&aqi=&oq=

this might be a dumb question but where does the neck radius come into play . my clapton has a 9.5 radius and this mim 5760 has 7.25 what is going to be the difference. where is this measured? thanks als68

Much the same as the Knopfler strat. Thats a 62 neck on a 57 body, so would be a 5762.

Looks a nice guitar.

I think the mim is alright the 60s classic players are great guitars. Even the standards are good for the money. I think the MIA are better but cost more.

I think MIM's are sometimes great and sometimes duds. My personal favourite is my old MIM thats been modded to a insane degree over the years. Its my goto guitar despite owning others that cost ten times its price.
Anyone else may think its crap. The guitar doesnt care and neither do I.

Its down to the guitar and more importantly how much time you are prepared to invest in it as a instrument. My MIM didnt feel like it does now fifteen years ago when I bought it. Much less stand any chance of competing with my customshop guitar. The thing has molded itself to me and I to it, over the years.

ithought i read somewhere that the mim sunburst strats had and alder body with some sort of maple veneer on top and back . when you look under the pickguard and the back plate of the 5760 that i have you can see this is not true at least on this guitar . what gives i did not think that alder grain was this nice well i guess i am wrong
