Well the Strat bug bit me again. I've looked too many times to count at the 50th Anniversary Strat (MIM) in my buddy's shop over the years. Still new (never owned anyway). The poor thing just hung there in all its golden beauty. I don't know why it never sold. Well anyway, I've only recently become a fan of Strats, so I adopted this one. The strings were totally dead so I changed them and she rocks. No set up required for this one. The neck feels great and she sounds really good. The real beauty is that all my Strats have their own sound and purpose. Now I have my eye on a used MIM that's begging for an EMG (Kirk Hammett) and Floyd upgrade. \m/

One thing I found odd is that my serial starts with MZ4 and ends with 6 digits not 5 like this site shows.

That's not strange,some do have 6 digits,it probably has to do with production numbers.
