I just changed all pups on my strat to an SHS (two singles on neck and bridge and humbucker on middle) and although not common I like how it sounds. I use the Humbucker with tone all the way and would like to be able to control the tone on the bridge pup. Two Questions:

1) Is there a way I can use for the bridge the tone control normally used for the middle and just leave the middle pup fixed with tone all the way? Where can I get wiring diagrams for this?

2) Is there a push/pull tone control I could use for individual tone control on middle and bridge? Wiring diagrams?

Thank You!!!!!!!

Welcome.

In answer to your first question, yes. Look at the right side of your pickup selector switch with the pickguard flipped over. You will (or should) see one unused terminal. Unsolder the wire from the terminal directly below that one and resolder it to this unused one. That's it.

2. Yes. I doubt it.

RED WIRES in diagram

So really all you do (Like Martian wrote) is take the wire that runs from the switch to the lower tone control and move it up to the empty lug on the switch.

Then take short jumper wire and solder it across the two lower lugs on the diagram ( so you have neck and middle tone control if you want).
