After all this time, I think I may have been deluding myself about one of my fave guitars..

Some years ago, I bought a second hand MIM Strat from a shop who represented it as a Classic 60s model. So I always believed that's what it was. Now I have a few more Strats and am a bit more knowledgable, I'm doubting the idea that it is a Classic 60s. It's about 12 yrs old, has a 9.5" radius neck and I discovered recently it has the ceramic bar magnet pickups. These don't seem to be cuurent specs for a Classic 60s - I don't know about the specs when the C60s was first released.

I'm not bothered, because I still love the gtr. It probably gets more use than my Highway 1. Does it sound like a standard 12yr old mexi Strat to you guys?

It does to me. To the best of my recollection, the model, "Classic 60s" wasn't around twelve years ago. This and coupled by the fact that you have those bar magnets which were consistent with the OEM specs of a MIM Standard Strat during that time period.

I think the Classic 60s had 7.25" and not 9.5" radius fretboards..

I don't know if it's the same guitar but the Classic"Player"60s Strat was first produced in 07.
