Need help identifying this MIM...serial # is MZ8294784, so I know it's a 2008 or 2009. Other than that, not sure - bought it off of craigslist.

It has three Texas Specials, which I'm pretty sure were installed later to replace the stock ones. Serial number is one the back of the headstock, "original contour body" is stamped on the front. Gold hardware, but again I am dead sure it was added to replace the stock stuff.

I'm trying to sell it so I can get my hands on a Classic Vibe 60's (!!!) so if you know roughly how much would be reasonable to sell it for with all these mods, that'd be good input. [/img]
The tuners aren't gold! So something(s) aren't original on that guitar. Was the gold hardware a modification -- that would be my guess. It probably started out as a Standard.

Around $300 - $400 because its been modified devalues it in my opinion.
Unless you have the original parts for it as well. In which case if it was in immaculate condition $400.

You can buy one new for about $450 if you shop around.

Yeah, the hardware should be all gold or all chrome. That is somebody's bastard dream child. No offense intended.

You could probably pick up either chrome bridge and other hardware to restore it to original or even gold tuning machines to complete the look. 8)

one gold pickguard screw? really? the previous owner should be flogged for that alone.

either all or none, my friend . she's too clean to mongrel up (gold chrome, medley).

my 98, i can pull off the gold, chrome, rust combo, but i don't recommend it.

actually there are six gold screws, which are a temporary means of keeping it on the guitar - its being sent to a repair shop and i grabbed a handful of whatever screws were around just to keep it together before i drove it to the shop :)

be prepared, eagle scout!

the gold on black looks good. gives it a rich appearance. i'd go with a black pickguard as well, but that's me. i have lots of taste, most of it bad.
