Let me start off by saying i have a epi les paul standard with SD HRH in em and my standard MIM Candy Apple Red maple fretboard strat with a line 6 spider 3 30 watt. I play mostly rock GNR heavy rock and classick for lead stuff i like to use my epi because i think it sounds better. I use my strat for mostly rythem on the GNR but i also you is for some leads on them. I also use my strat for lead on songs that the guitarist played a strat like WEEZER. So what do you use your strat for?

Im a punk rock , pop punk guitarist , metal ( mostly rythm stuff ) .. i play the HSS american standard .

so im no "purist" by any mean , but its hand down the best guitar ive played in my life . ive always like fender when i was oyunger and couldnt afford one .. now i can and i love it ..

i love the american standard HSS .. the diamondback humbucker has just the right sound for my taste ( medium output , ) so its not noisy , very versatile from blue to metal ( as opposed to lets say a duncan invader who doesnt clean up and too dark ) .

i like to gain form the amp and not by my pickup , medium output is perfect .

:)

so this guitar is perfect for me .

Mostly classic rock and blues because that's what I'm playing at the moment but personally I think that the Strat is a very versatile guitar. You can get away with playing many different styles of music if you spend some time getting the tones that you want.

I use mine for classic rock and blues mostly,a Strat really shines when played through a tube amp.Other than that I use mine for mashing potatoes.

I don't have a Stat (Yet), but if I did I would use it to make all my other guitars jealous.

I use mine for rock, blues and emotional support. I haven't needed it for self defence yet, but then I haven't been mugged for a long time now.

they make excellent cricket bats for people like me no lack cordination, and find the regular cricket bats too narrow to hit the ball.
