Hello. I am still troling eBay in search for the body for my project. I have found. Couple that I have interest in. They have two point bridges and I have a six point for my install. Will there be any issues to be aware of in making the conversion. Thanks in advance

My guess is that he already had some parts around from some other project. There are too many bodies to be had already routed for the 6 point vintage trem. I'd strongly advise either getting a body already routed for the 6 point or heed Jay's advise and get a 2 point trem.

Agreed. i am going to assume you are looking at the parted out bodies because you don't want to do any finishing work? if that is the case you will need to buy one already drilled for the vintage bridge you have. i can't see any way for you to alter a 2 point body without marring the finish.

If you don't mind painting, then a better option would be buying a completely unfinished replacement body, available from a variety of vendors. It is way more work to strip the finish off a body and redo it, than it is to start from bare.
