This guy i met is sellin a 1984 american standard for $600. I want you guys opinion, is it worth 600? Im not buying it till i get to play it of course.

My opinion is if the guitare is in good working condition the price is good.

That's not an 84. That's either an 86-88 that's using leftover decals.

Right. An 1984 would have only two knobs, and the output jack on the pickguard.

All I see are two headstock pics.lol Just ask him if everything is original and if there was any work on the guitar. The bottom line though if it plays and sounds good for that price you have a nice player.
