I always wonder what the world missed with the death of Buddy Holly. My guess is that he would have eventually become a producer and maybe even founded his own record label. Who knows what artists might have been discovered. Such a tragedy.

RIP Buddy

Let us not forget J.P. Richardson (The Big Bopper) and Ritchie Valens who died in that same plane crash.

I was watching a Fender Anniv thing on Paladia the other night, and The Crickets opened up. Made me think a lot about what BH could have done to/for music if he'd lived on.

RIP BH!

And what of Wayon Jennings........who lost the coin toss for the seat. :? If that flight had never gone, would his life's thread have brought him to what he rose. :?: Such is caprice :?

Find a pic of Marshall Crenshaw and see. It certainly isn't our cover band Forum member.

Yup. From what I've heard, Waylon was pizzed that he lost that coin toss and was quoted as saying... "...I hope ya crash", err something to the effect. Tragically, his teenager’s angst was a very morbid forecast of what was to come. Admittedly, Waylon suffered emotionally for year’s b/c of his comment.

It is, but I'd need to see if Palladia edited it for time. Too often that is done, and one loses content. Can't comment further as a result.

Point. Most likely, yes; and I would imagine for content more than time.

Edit: My wife has deleted my Paladia event(s). Geesh!

Peace,
